A gorilla in UK has just got his sore tooth removed by the densists! Don't believe me? Take a look at the photograph above. It shows the root removal operation performed by specialist veterinary dentists at Paignton Zoo, Devon.
Pertinax, a silverback Western gorilla, is the leader of the zoo's bachelor group of gorillas in Paignton Zoo. He had a broken canine. So, Dr Peter Kertesz had to remove the root, that was three inches long. For this operation, the primate had to be sedated for about two hours. Link
