60 Meter Long Trousers from Mexico!

60_meter_long_trousers

Residents of Almoloya del Río, a small village located some 30 miles from Mexico City, made a 60 meter-long pair of trousers as they attempted to brake a Guinness record and boost their local economy and textiles industry which have been badly affected by the global recession.

 60_meter_long_trousers3

In total, 1.8 thousand meters of fabric, and 10 thousand meters of thread were used to make the 60.1 meter long trousers. Village residents financed the tailoring of the long trousers with 44 people taking part in the production process. Almoloya Residents hope that the giant trousers will break a Guinness World Record achieved two weeks ago by a Tunisian designer who made a pair of trousers with a 50 meter length. The trousers now hang in the village square from a large crane.

The World's Smallest Girl!

worlds_smallest_girl_Jyoti_Amge1

Take a look at the girl in the picture above. Her name is Jyoti Amge and she is currently the World's Smallest Girl! Born December 16, 1993, Jyoti is just 1ft 11 inches (58cm) tall and weighs only 11 pounds (5.25kg). Can you believe this?

worlds_smallest_girl_Jyoti_Amge3

Jyoti lives in Nagpur, India, with her family and enjoys a celebrity status in her home town. A result of Achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism, Jyoti is so small that her size is half the size of her two-year-old nephew. Take a look at the picture.

worlds_smallest_girl_Jyoti_Amge2

Jyoti is too small to use a normal sized knife and fork, so she eats off special plates, sleeps in a tiny, custom-built bed, and has to have her clothes and jewelry custom-made for her. Even bathing is done on a miniature scale, requiring specially-made steps to help her get into the tub and a small bucket and jug to wash herself. Jyoti goes to a regular school at Bhartiya Vidya Niketan in Nagpur, where her fellow classmates of her own age treat her as one of themselves as she sits at her custom built miniature desk and chair.

Jyoti is happy with her size and enjoys the celebrity status her height has brought her. "I am proud of being small. I love all the attention I get. I'm not scared of being small and I don’t regret it. I'm just the same as other people. I eat like you, dream like you. I don’t feel any different." she said.

Sara Watson, a second-year student at the University of Central Lancashire, recently painted a car  to make it blend chameleon-like into the background, creating the illusion that it has become invisible. Don't believe me?  Take a look at the images of the invisible car created by Sara Watson.

A recycling firm that wanted some publicity donated the Skoda to Watson, who spent three weeks meticulously painting it to resemble the parking lot in which it was parked. Looks good in first three images. But the last image reveals the truth clearly and the car looks ugly! via: Daily Telegraph

Color Changing Frog Worshipped!

According to news reports, a fog that constantly changes color is being worshipped as a God in India. The frog was a dazzling white color when Reji Kumar, 35, from Kerala, first spotted it while watering a flower bed. Then it changed to yellow and had gone gray by the time he got it home.

Color Changing Frog

"By night the frog was dark yellow, and then it became transparent so you could see its internal organs. It seemed like a miracle to me that this frog had so many different coats. So now people come to see him and pray to him." Reji added.

Now, hundreds of followers flock to Reji Kumar's home every day to pray and ask for miracles, reports The Sun. India is a country where people worships millions of God and Goddesses! That's why no one is surprised when a frog is being worshipped as a God.

India's top zoologist says it's strange that an animal would change color so often. They are now planning to study the frog. But Reji is concerned for its future as the odd creature does not appear to eat anything.
