Salar de Uyuni (or Salar de Tunupa) is the world's largest salt desert or salt flat. It is located in the southwest of Bolivia, near the crest of the Andes, 3650 meters high. It's size is 10,582 km² (4,085 square miles). When covered with shallow water, the Salar de Uyuni reflects the sky and that's why it is also called as the 'World's Largest Mirror (Natural)".
