Global Warming is no more a new term for the modern world. Now, Arctic ice is melting due to climate change. Thanks to global warming! Recently, to highlight the impact of global warming on our world, Brazilian artist Nele Azevedo created 1,000 ice sculptures and placed them in the central Gendarmenmarkt square of Berlin, to melt. Take a look at the pictures. Yes, that was an important message for humankind. World Wildlife Fund is already us that melting ice could possibly cause sea levels to rise more than 3.3 ft by 2100.
Last week, a wax statue of U.S. President Barack Obama was presented to the media in front the Eiffel Tower before its installation at the Grevin Museum in Paris June 29, 2009. But, hot sun threatened to melt the wax Obama's face. So, helpers had to grab umbrellas to shield the waxwork from the hot sun. Take a look at the picture.
The wax statue of Obama was created by sculptor Eric Saint Chaffray, who has been creating wax statues for the museum for the past 20 years, and has worked on American presidents in the past. But this time, his main problem was creating a wax statue without meeting the person. To create the wax Obama, he completely depended on press photos. The end result was definitely perfect.

Livio De Marchi is a great artist with a sense of humor. Don't believe me? Take a look at these pictures of his creations. He is the only man who drives a car in Venice. The artist's has sculpted a full size Ferrari F50 boat out of wood. It floats on water, enabling him to drive around the many canals in his home town of Venice, much to the delight of tourists and locals.
Born in Venice, Livio De Marchi worked on ornamental sculpture in the Venetian tradition in the workshop of a crafting and in the meantime he studied art and drawing at the "Accademia di Belle Arti" in Venice. His other large works include floating hat in origami style, floating woman's show, floating jaguar 1937, house of books, floating volkswagen Beetle convertible and floating pumpkin coach with 4 horses.

Take a look at the picture. This is a sculpture made of thousands of used aluminum cans collected from around the UK. In fact, it is the world's largest recycled artwork, which was unveiled at Seven Sisters, East Sussex to mark Recycle Week 22-28 June 2009. Recycle Week is a new drive to encourage consumers to recycle their cans and bottles.
The giant sculpture, called Precious Metal, took a team of artists a week to complete and can only be fully viewed from the air. It is inspired by a classic 1949 summer poster from the Coca-Cola, which shows a swimsuit-clad lady relaxing in the sun. The odd sculpture was led by the award-winning Cornish sculptor Robert Bradford.
