The Stelvio Pass is one of the highest Alpine Passes of Europe. This is one of the deadliest roads in the world. The 60 hairpin bends, 48 of them on the northern side numbered with stones, are a challenge to motorists. The Stelvio Pass remains open from June to September. Source

This has to be the most stunning alpine pass I've ever driven. Drove over it in 2001 on the MSA Euroclassic with our little 1969 Austin Healey Sprite. Planning to go again in the next year or two. You must have good brakes for the descent.
