OK! Magazine Jade Goody Tribute Issue!

Reality TV star Jade Goody, who is living her last few days battling cervical cancer at her residence in London, is already dead for an OK! magazine! The UK edition of OK! magazine already published a tribute issue for Jade Goody! Take a look at the image of the magazine front page.

Titled as "Jade Goody Official Tribute Issue", the March 17, 2009 issue carries the phrases "In Loving Memory" and "Jade Goody 1981-2009". The OK! UK issue, that went on sale on Tuesday, also contains a "World Exclusive" interview with Jade and many unseen pictures of the former TV reality-show star.

Do you think that it is appropriate to publish such a tribute issue when the person is still alive? We don't think that it is appropriate. In fact it is weird and only mad people can do something like this.

Playboy's Hugh Hefner selling Mansion

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner

It is reported that Playboy founder Hugh Hefner is selling his Holmby Hills mansion for $28 million. Is it an effect of the ongoing global financial recession? Probably it is!

According to the Los Angeles Times, the mansion backs on to the Los Angeles Country Club and also shares a lot line with the official Playboy mansion next door, where Hefner is still known to saunter the nights away dressed in his famous pajamas.

Hefner, 82,bought the 700-sq-meter mansion for a reported $6.7 million for his Playmate wife Kimberley, in 1998. After the couple split in 1999, Kimberley remained in the house where she raised their two sons. Now their sons are off to college.

The palatial spread features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, a two-storey entrance hall, a large living room with one of the home's three fireplaces, a library with a second fireplace, a family room that adjoins the dining room and an eat-in kitchen - and a massive expanse of lawn.

Hollywood actress Halle Berry has been named the "Sexiest Woman Alive" by the popular man's magazine Esquire. In this month's edition of the magazine, the 42-year-old star poses in a parody of a 2000 cover photograph of former US President Bill Clinton. Take a look at the picture above.

Brangelina : Most Powerful Actor and Actress

Brangelina did it again! Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been named the "Most Powerful Actor and Actress in Hollywood" by the 2009 Guinness Book of World Records. Brad Pitt toppled the four-year reign of Tom Cruise, while Angelina Jolie secured the top spot, after sharing the title with Jennifer Aniston last year.

The "most powerful" category in Guinness Book of World Records awards the titles based on Internet searches, star ratings, earnings, news coverage and many other factors.

Britney wins Three Moonman!

After one year of her disastrous comeback attempt at the MTV Video Music Awards, singer Britney Spears swept the MTV Video Music Awards, 2008 event on Sunday, winning the first three "Moonman" statuettes of her career. Britney took home the VMA awards for "Video of the Year", "Best Pop Video" and "Best Female Video", all for the song "Piece of Me."

"First I want to thank God, my two beautiful boys for inspiring me every day and my fans, this is for you. Thank you so much.", Britney said as she took the stage to accept the Moonman for Best Female Video.

Elvis and Priscilla Presley Barbie Dolls

Last week, a new set of Elvis and Priscilla Presley Barbie dolls were unveiled at the souvenir shop in Graceland. Take a look at the picture above. The beautiful dolls sport replicas of the outfits the couple wore on their wedding day in Las Vegas in 1967. The Elvis doll sports a black paisley-print tuxedo, while Priscilla's doll is wearing a white chiffon gown with a tiara and veil.

The dolls were unveiled to mark the anniversary of Presley's death on August 16, 1977. Each of the dolls costs $65 and currently they are available in limited numbers. Well, there are reports that they will be available in greater amounts later this year. So, if you are a fan of Elvis, don't miss it!

Photos of Angelina Jolie Twins

The first photos of the newborn twins of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, have been sold for a reported US$14 million. The celebrity couple sold the rights to the photos to Getty Images, which then sold them to magazines. Getty said that the proceeds would go "entirely to charity". In the latest issue of PEOPLE magazine the photos of Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline appeared in the front page. Take a look at the cover of this week's PEOPLE magazine. This issue also includes interview with Brad and Angelina and 19 pages of intimate family photos.

Hollywood's Best-Paid Actors by Forbes

According to the famous US business magazine Forbes, Will Smith was the highest-paid actor in the Hollywood last year. In all total, Will Smith made $80 million (£40m) between 1 June 2007 and 1 June 2008. It was obvious, as he gave some of the best blockbusters like I Am Legend, Hancock and The Pursuit of Happyness.

But Will Smith only ranked 21st on the value-for-money list, with a gross income return of $5.64 for every dollar spent on the big-budget superstar. Dodgeball star Vince Vaughn proved the best value for money, raking in $14.73 for every dollar he was paid. Johnny Depp stayed in second position with total $72million (£36m).

On the other hand, Cameron Diaz topped in the highest-paid Hollywood actress list by Forbes, with $50m (£25m) made during last year.

On July 3, 2008, Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue received Order of the British Empire (OBE) from Britain's Prince Charles, for her services to music at Buckingham Palace in London. Naomi Campbell charged over Police assult

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has been charged with assaulting two police officers after she was removed from a flight at London's Heathrow Airport. The alleged incident occurred on a BA flight which was due to leave for Los Angeles from Terminal 5 on 3 April.

The 38-year-old supermodel was accused of six offences when she answered bail at Heathrow police station. Now she will appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on 20 June.

Ms Campbell has been charged with three counts of assaulting a constable, which carries a maximum sentence of six months in prison and a fine of up to £5,000. She also faces one count of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, which is punishable by a fine of up to £2,500, and two counts of using threatening, abusive words or behaviour towards cabin crew, which comes with a maximum penalty of £1,000.

Pamela Anderson Rick Salomon wants to split

Pamela Anderson and her husband Rick Salomon wants to split, after both od them alleged fraud in their relationship. According to court papers filed Friday, Rick Salomo agreed that their two-month marriage should be voided because of fraud. They were married last Oct. 6 in Las Vegas.

After just two months of marriage, Anderson, 40, filed for divorce from Salomon, 39, in December, citing irreconcilable differences. Now, Salomon did not ask for spousal support and asked that it not be awarded to Anderson.

Salomon was previously married to actress Shannen Doherty for nine months. He is also known for the sex videotape, that he made with then-girlfriend Paris Hilton. On the other hand, Anderson was previously married to singer Kid Rock and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee.

Actor Heath Ledger found Dead in NYC

Heath Ledger, the Australian actor who earned an Academy Award nomination for his turn as a stubbornly taciturn gay ranch hand in "Brokeback Mountain", was found dead Tuesday in a Manhattan apartment, New York police said. He was 28.

A housekeeper sent to fetch Mr. Ledger for a massage appointment found him naked and unresponsive about 3:30 p.m., NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said. Police sources told The New York Times Tuesday that sleeping pills were found near Mr. Ledger's body, leading them to suspect suicide or an accidental overdose as the cause of death. The medical examiner's office planned an autopsy Wednesday, a spokeswoman said.

Ledger was nominated for a best actor Oscar for "Brokeback Mountain," a 2005 film about two cowboys who fall in love. Ledger's roles also include the suicidal son of Billy Bob Thornton in "Monster's Ball," and he had starring roles in "A Knight's Tale" and "The Patriot." Link

Brad Pitt plans 150 homes for Orleans

A good cause! Actor Brad Pitt has said he expects 150 homes to be built in an area of New Orleans destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, as part of a project he is backing. The 43-year-old Hollywood star, who has pledged $5m (£2.4m) of his own money to the initiative, made an appeal for further donations to the fund.

Each house in the city's Lower Ninth Ward, which was deluged by flooding in 2005, will be built on stilts.

"This is really an adopt-a-house campaign," said Pitt, who hoped that wealthy individuals, church groups and businesses would make pledges of $150,000 (£72,750), the sum needed to give a family a new home.

The buildings, which have been designed by a team of 13 architects, have been planned to environmentally-friendly specifications.

Brad Pit and partner Angelina Jolie own a mansion in New Orleans' French Quarter. Jolie and the couple's son Maddox accompanied Pitt as he campaigned for further funds on The Today Show on US network NBC. Link

Akon officially charged for fan-tossing

A bad deal for Akon! Hip-hop star Akon has been officially charged in the highly publicized fan-tossing incident that took place in the summer in New York, after the fan said she suffered a concussion when the boy who was tossed off the stage by the singer landed on her.

According to the Associated Press, Akon is scheduled to appear in Fishkill Town Court on Monday morning (December 3) to be arraigned on a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a minor, and second-degree harassment.

The singer was caught on video back in June where he was seen throwing a fan off the stage into the crowd wile he performed at the Annual KFEST concert at Dutchess Stadium in Fishkill, New York.

Queen Elizabeth II among world's most glamorous women

The Queen is new Style Icon! Queen Elizabeth II has been named alongside supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell as one of the world's most glamorous women by British Vogue magazine.

Vogue said in its December "glamour" edition that the 81-year-old monarch was "as glamorous in her brogues and headscarf in Balmoral (her Scottish Highland retreat) as she is wearing the crown jewels".

"Glamour is about how you wear something, not about what you wear," it added, identifying the queen's "USP" -- or unique selling point -- as her jewels.

The Queen will elebrate 60 years of marriage to her husband Prince Philip later this month and next month becomes the oldest reigning monarch in British history.

Shilpa Shetty in trouble with her phone number

The Celebrity Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty has complained to police after her private number was circulated in a mass email. A fan of the Bollywood actress got hold of her number and sent it on to hundreds of people via email. It resulted in lots of calls and messages to Shilpa.

Shilpa Shetty became so anxious about the number of calls and messages she received, she filed an official police complaint, alleging harassment. The complaint asks police to trace the fan, according to her publicist Dale Bhagwagar. The Bollywood actress has now stopped using the number.

'Some want to date her, some want to just listen to her voice, some want to inquire if her musical Miss Bollywood is doing fine and some call just to check if they are speaking to the real Shilpa Shetty," Mr Bhagwagar said.

A well-known actress in India, Shilpa Shetty became an international star after she won the C4 reality show Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year.

Mumbai police said they were investigating, and the the fan could face six months in jail for harassment and illegally using the Internet to publicise a private phone number. Link

Modified visitation rules for Britney Spears

A good news for Spears? Yesterday, a Court provided modified visitation rules for Britney Spears, allowing one supervised overnight stay a week with her two young sons. Spears was previously permitted monitored visits with the children, but without overnight stays.

The attorney of Britney Spears also requested her mother become the court-appointed monitor. Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini announced the new visitation order but declined to name the monitor. Kevin Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan said his client, who was not at the hearing, agreed to the modification.

Britney Spears, 25, and Kevin Federline, 29, were married in October 2004 and divorced in July. They both must appear in court October 26 for a status hearing of the case. via VOA

Angelina and Brad spent £1 million on art

The glamourous pair of Hollywood, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have spent a whopping £1 million on works by British "guerilla artist" Banksy at a contemporary art sale in London last night. "Brangelina" were not there in person but still they managed to get the Banksy piece, with its huge pricetag.

The auction at The Shadow Lounge was organised by photographer-turned-gallerist Steve Lazarides, who is largely responsible for making British art popular in Hollywood. The extraordinary art auction included works worth an estimated £10 million by different artists including Damien Hirst. via DailyMail
