Man pulls Routemaster bus with his ears

A brave attempt! Manjit Singh, one of the strongest men in Britain, failed in an attempt to set a new World Record, pulling a Routemaster bus with his ears. He attempted the feat at London's Hyde Park to help celebrate World Records Day.

The 7.5-tonne bus represented his stiffest challenge yet. It proved too much for him, and he pulled up after around 5 metres of the 10 meter target. Last year Mr Singh pulled a passenger aircraft weighing 7.4 tonnes a distance of 3.4 metres (11ft) using his ears.

"He's very disappointed, but that's the nature of record-breaking," said Amarilla Espinoza, a spokeswoman for Guinness World Records. via Ananova
