YouTube got a Royal touch! Britain’s Queen Elizabeth has just launched her own channel on this popular video-sharing site. The YouTube channel is named as “The Royal Channel“. The Christmas Broadcast or ‘Queen’s Speech’ for 2007 will appear on this channel at approximately 3pm GMT on Christmas Day.
The launch of “The Royal Channel” marks the 50th anniversary of the Queen’s first televised festive address in 1957. Presently the channel features recent and historical footage of the monarch and other members of the Royal Family in 18 different videos. Link
