The world's first footprint of a Tyrannosaurus rex, has been found in Hell Creek rock formation in Montana, US. Dr Phil Manning, of Manchester University, found it last year, during a field visit. He believes that the 29 inch long mark was made by the T. rex as it stomped over a prehistoric floodplain more than 65 million years ago.
Manning kept the location secret for one year, to confirm its identity with more tests. Hell Creek is a massive rock formation that stretches over three states and which was formed around 65 to 67 million years ago, when Tyrannosaurus rex stalked in prehistoric North America.
