Footprint of Yeti Sold for £3,500

This photograph is regarded as one of the best evidence of the Yeti's existence. It shows the footprint of Yeti or Snowman. Yesterday, it was sold for £3,500 at an auction in London. This mysterious footprint was photographed in the Nepal- Tibet border region of the Himalayas in 1951 by a team of mountaineers heading for the Mt. Everest.

The Yeti or Abominable Snowman is an apelike cryptid said to inhabit the Himalaya region of Nepal and Tibet. The names Yeti and Meh-Teh are commonly used by the people indigenous to the region, and are part of their history and mythology.
