Photographer Gunned Down in Burma

Look at these photographs. The 50-year-old Japanese journalist, Kenji Nagai was killed by troops and police in Burma, who intensified their crackdown on protesters marching through the nation's towns and cities for days. In the first one, the photographer is lying on his back, his arms raised in what may be a gesture of surrender - or pleading. Seconds later, the slipper clad soldier who had been standing over him with a sub machine-gun has moved on, and the photographer is lying motionless. Link

So, the soldier killed him. What was his fault? Is this humanity? They also killed 8 other innocent people. This is the future of Burma, where slipper clad (!) soldiers can kill anyone.
