Tom Grizzard wins Ernest Hemingway look-alike contest


Tom Grizzard, a white-bearded man from Leesburg, Florida, won this year's Ernest Hemingway look-alike contest. The contest was organized at Sloppy Joe's Bar, in honor of the late Nobel Prize-winning author. Hemingway would have turned 109 on Monday.

Tom Grizzard, who is now 69, won the competition by defeating 141 other contenders. During the preliminary rounds that was held on Thursday and Friday, the Ernest Hemingway look-alike contenders paraded across the stage at Sloppy Joe's in sportsman's attire, before a judging panel of former winners. The competition's final round was held on late Saturday. via AP
