Qian Hongyan in Pool

She is brave and she is cute. A tragic accident took away her legs, when she was three years old. Due to poor financial condition of her family, she was forced to depend on a basket ball as a prosthetic. Now she is ten and has courage to challange the world.

Her name is Qian Hongyan and she lives in Zhuangxia, China. Disability is not a limiting factor for her. Recently she has joined a swimming club. She is doing well and her dream is to compete in the 2012 Paralympics in London.

Although Hongyan now has a pair of hi-tech prosthetic limbs, she still uses the basketball from time to time as it helps her get in and out of the pool. May God bless her to fulfill her dreams. Link
